Dear dancers,dear friends,my name is YuanBin,Iam vice president of the World Dance Council.The year 2023 is just around the corner,on behalf of the World DanceCouncil, I would like to extend my most heartfelt New Year wishes to all the Chinese dancers.
回首2022年，每一位中国舞者都在各自的领域追逐、和奉献，辛勤耕耘了整整又一年，有所收获的同时也用实际行动铸就了流光溢彩的舞蹈世界。在这一年，中国舞蹈选手克服疫情，在世界的舞台上取得了不凡的成绩，是他们的付出让我们倍感欢呼和雀跃。也就在这一年，世界舞蹈总会中国舞蹈委员会荣誉冠名了荷兰阿森的职业摩登舞世界锦标赛和奥地利维也纳的职业拉丁舞世界锦标赛，这为中国舞蹈选手搭建了更加便捷的国际桥梁，也为疫情之后的中国舞者走向世界提供了更加广阔的发展空间。
Looking back on the year 2022, every Chinese dancer has been pursuing and dedicating in their respective fields. They have worked hard for a whole year, and at the same time, they have created a colorful dance world with their practical actions.In the past year, Chinese dancers have overcome the epidemic and made extraordinary achievements on the world stage. It is their dedication that makes us feel cheered and capered.In the same year, theWorld Dance CouncilChina Dance Committeehonorarynamed theWorldChampionship ProfessionalBallroom in Assen,Dutch Open,and theWorldChampionship Professional Latin in ViennaInternationalDance Festival.Which built a more convenient international bridge for Chinese dancers, and also provided a broader space for Chinese dancers to go to the world after the epidemic.
我本人也曾经有过一段愉快的舞蹈学习时光，至今受益匪浅，趁着新年来临之际也向中国的舞者宣布一个激动人心的好消息，我们中国在取得2024年世界舞蹈总会职业拉丁舞世界锦标赛举办权的基础之上，再一次获得了2024年职业摩登舞世界锦标赛的举办资格。届时，2024年的中国，职业拉丁舞和职业摩登舞世界锦标赛将同期举行，这是世界舞蹈领域前所未有的创举，也必将成为中国舞蹈事业发展的重要里程碑。
I once had a happy time of learning dance, which has benefited a lot to this day.Taking advantage of the approaching of the New Year, we also announce an exciting news to Chinese dancers. We in China have once againgot the qualification to host the 2024 World Championship ProfessionalBallroom on the basis of our winning the right to host the 2024 World Championship Professional Latin. By then, the 2024 World Championships Professional Latin and ProfessionalBallroom will be held at the same time in China, which is an unprecedented initiative in the field of world dance and will certainly become an important milestone in the development of Chinese dance.
一路走来，既是艰辛的道路，也是喜悦的成功之路，最能体会到的是，在成千上万的中国舞者走向国际舞台的同时，伴随着一代又一代舞者先驱们的不懈努力，是他们的奉献才能够使我们在国际的舞台上更加瞩目，在舞蹈领域的公共文化外交中占有重要的一席之地。
Along the way, it is not only a difficult road, but also a happy road to success.
